The first of several exams in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 series is Microsoft Exam MB2-868 Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications. This exam is targeted for CRM power users, and is the first CRM 2011 exam most folks should take. If you want to know the ins and outs of how to use CRM’s out-of-the-box functionality, this is the exam for you!

Warning: This beast had 75 questions instead of the normal 40-50! All were standard multiple choice, with no hot-spot or drag-and-drop questions. Surprisingly, there was not even a case study, which I expected after seeing it had 75 questions. The exam covers Sales, Marketing and Service features in CRM, along with core functionality common to all areas. To pass, you really have to have knowledge in all of those areas. You will not pass if you don’t have experience or study Marketing, for example. This is especially important for Service, which on my exam had more questions than any other area.
