Founder & CEO
Joel believes technology can change lives because it has so dramatically and positively impacted his family’s day-to-day. His son, Alex, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2007. Since his diagnosis, Joel has committed himself to bettering his and his family’s understanding of the disease and utilizes technology every day to keep track of his school-aged son’s health.
After a successful career in both the technology and financial services sectors Joel founded eimagine nearly 20 years ago with the same intention, but for business. He is an energetic entrepreneur who brings a passion for excellence and a solid foundation in technology and business best practices. He embodies the eimagine philosophy that empowering employees to improve their personal and professional lives, their working environments, and their communities makes the difference between a good company and a great company.
Joel is a graduate of Stanford University and resides in Indianapolis with his wife and four children where he is an active member of the community. He most recently coached Cathedral High School Boys Varsity Soccer team for the 2017 season and is currently a member of the Board for the Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and formerly served as Board President, JDRF Indiana Chapter. He is a Board Member of the Heroes Foundation and actively participates in their Team Joey program.
Scott participated in an international camp when he was young that helped catapult his passion of people into a career. At the age of 11, he was invited to participate in CISV, a summer camp including children from all over the world with over 30 different cultures and geographies represented. He learned that diversity and difference in experience leads to a great time and an awesome outcome in the workplace.
When Scott Crane joined eimagine in 2001 as Senior Software Developer, he quickly advanced to a vice president role. In 2014, he took on the role of president. He is involved in and oversees the operations which includes the federal government, finance, marketing, people operations, project management office, sales, and technical services teams.
Scott’s process, analytical, team-building and client service skills have been refined throughout his 20-year career. Scott holds a B.S. in computer science from Purdue University. He resides in Fishers, Indiana with his wife and two children. He is a passionate member of his community where, for several years, he has lead the eimagine team in events at Gleaners Food Bank and is also an active volunteer for girl’s youth soccer and his church.
Vice President, Federal Government Services
Eric had a unique experience as a college student. While still in school, he was an active volunteer that helped students get more experience using computers. After a large lay-off of a local company, many baby-boomers found themselves without a job and without the skills necessary to get a new one quickly…specifically lacking computer skills. Thus, launching his fondness of helping those apply practical problem solving using technology.
Eric Crane joined eimagine in 2002 as a senior consultant. Shortly thereafter he was promoted to technical manager, director and subsequently vice president where he is primarily responsible for overseeing eimagine government clients. In this role, he is a key member of the eimagine leadership team where he specializes in resource management, technical excellence, quality control and communications.
He refined his project management and technical skills in prior positions with large national organizations such as Cooper Tire & Rubber; Booz, Allen & Hamilton; and SOZA & Company.Eric holds a B.S. in computer information systems, operations management and business process management from Indiana University.
He currently resides in Westfield, Indiana with his wife and two daughters and is an active volunteer at his church, for Girl Scouts, and his daughter’s ballet events.
Vice President, Human Resources
Emily, an equestrian since childhood, has always enjoyed the social aspect of work AND play. She brings to eimagine a passion for empowering each employee to create his or her ideal work environment in which he or she sees limitless possibilities. She is a champion of the concept of community connectivity in both her personal life and the eimagine organization. Emily enjoys all aspects of human resources, especially getting to know prospective candidates and introducing them to eimagine’s dynamic culture. She gained experience in a variety of recruitment and HR roles with nationally known retailers such as Nordstrom and Galyans. Emily embodies the quote, “grow together, change together.”
Emily is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in retail management. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband and three boys.
Vice President, Technical Services
Andrew Corrington has been helping people use technology to problem solve since high school. A team of him and his peers established a program that provided an interactive learning environment called Safety First. The program used scanned images and advanced animation to prevent drug abuse as well as bicycle and car safety to intermediate students.
As the Vice President of Technical Services at eimagine, Andrew oversees development on public and private sector projects. He has been involved in supporting Microsoft enterprise level applications for over 10 years. He is a member of the American Society of Military Controllers and engages in many community service activities- one being FIRST, “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,” where he acts as a referee for the robotic events and was recently named Volunteer of the Year.
A graduate of Purdue University, he stays busy volunteering over 100 hours helping young robotic visionaries compete.
Vice President, Sales
Ben launched his career into technology at a warehouse while he was still in college. Always being one to take on a challenge, he taught himself how to write software that would help the warehouse automate manual processes. This particular experience sparked his interest in learning how to make businesses operate better using technology. Although he started down the path of pre-med, he ultimately graduated from the IU School of Informatics.
As Vice President of Sales at eimagine, Ben Klopfer is responsible for defining overarching sales strategies, leading the high-performing Sales team and ensuring long-term company success. He leads eimagine’s sales efforts to help customers overcome complex business challenges with innovative technology solutions. Ben believes in affecting positive change as a trusted advisor—a true advocate and partner to others.
Ben has over 16 years of experience in the technology industry at organizations ranging from 5 to 5,000 to 50,000 employees. His out-of-the-box ideas and leadership have been instrumental to success at global leaders such as AOL Time Warner and Epic Systems Corporation. Ben graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He holds a degree from the IU School of Informatics, the first school of its kind focused on the application of technology across practical fields of study. In typical trailblazing fashion, Ben did not hesitate to apply to the then-new program, and was a part of the first graduating class.
A passionate philanthropist, Ben functions as a Director on boards for non-profit Ronen Chamber Ensemble and was former president of Rainmakers ConnectTech. He also served as a committee chair for over a decade at the Arthritis Foundation. He believes in serving the welfare of others by volunteering his time and leadership skills for one simple thing—to do good. Born and raised in Indianapolis, he has a strong connection to the local community. Ben was honored as one of Indy’s Best and Brightest in 2013, and was elected as President of his neighborhood association. Ben lives in central Indy with his wife Jes and his pup Lucy. Ben is very active in the local business community and is an occasional spirited and engaging speaker at business networking events.
Vice President, Project Management Office
Swimming, tennis, sea adventures, space, survival: all camps Laura attended as a child over the summer. Not one to shy away from a new experience or meeting new people- she truly loved every single minute. This resulted in a love for change and new challenges.
Laura Hansen joined eimagine in 2013, bringing project management experience spanning multiple industries and technologies. At eimagine, Laura is the Vice President of the Project Management Office. She acts as a project manager for internal and external development, implementation and support projects.
Laura is a talented team builder with experience motivating and leading cross-functional project teams. Her detailed, results oriented approach is tempered by her attention to collaboration and customer satisfaction. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) through the Project Management Institute as well as a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance.
Laura holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and a M.S. in Technology from Purdue University. She resides in Carmel with her husband and two dogs.
