Microsoft Power BI User? Good News!

A software update release that happened on time and with every feature that was previewed and even more to boot? We’ll take it!

On November 1, Microsoft released the new version of Power BU Report server that contains all of the features introduced August 2017 and then some.  A user and updates haven’t been applied to your Microsoft BI Application? Be sure to update your production environment to take advantage of the new features.

To summarize, the below updates are available:

1. Scheduled Data Refresh for reports
2. Direct Query Support
3. Rest API
4. Conection availability to shared datasets in report server via data
5. Filter capability by using URL parameters
